This short video production took us to Tanzania with Raleigh International.

We produced a short documentary film to raise awareness about global charity Raleigh International’s water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) project in schools across rural Tanzania. The project is supported by Jersey Overseas Aid.

We had the privilege of being invited to Tanzania for 3 weeks to capture video content for Raleigh Tanzania. Our main objective was to produce a short film to document their water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects, which is supported by Jersey Overseas Aid.

Raleigh are working in rural Primary Schools in Tanzania to build much-needed toilet and hand washing facilities, as well as carrying out educational work with children and community members to improve the general knowledge of safe hygiene practices.

With 84% of schools lacking any hand washing facilities, illness amongst children is very common. Raleigh are working very hard to spread good information and improve facilities, so that more children engage in better hygiene practices - which in turn improves knowledge through communities.

“It was a real pleasure to work with Ally over a 3 month period. He researched our organisation very well, and produced a video that both us and our supporters were extremely happy with. Even in challenging working environments he remained cool, composed and focused on the task at hand. I would thoroughly recommend his services” — Ross McKenzie - Country Director, Raleigh International Tanzania
